To commemorate the War of 1812 and the significant impact that the war had on the residents of Niagara Falls, the City of Niagara Falls War of 1812 Task Force is co-ordinating many activities to bring attention to this period of our past.  It was a defining moment for the residents of Niagara and has contributed to the identity of our community and country.
